One, must have, amenity for every recording studio is a comfortable and sleepable sofa. I’ve slept in more studios than the law will allow. I remember once while we were making Late Registration i got tired and announced that I was going into the booth where this really comfortable love seat was to sleep, but apparently nobody was paying attention. I woke up in the middle of the night in a pitch black Chalis Studio’s. Recently i’ve been thinking of converting an extra bedroom in my house to a workspace/ vocal studio. The plan consisted of taking out all the bedroom furniture and bringing down all of my equipment from an upstairs finished out attic space. The final touch is to be the addition of a sleeper sofa or something of the futon type. I think I just got an idea….
