(submitted by Tyomi the Glamazon) We are in the New Millennium, and with the approach of the year 2010 It’s evident that we are entering into what we deemed to be the “Space Age” in the 90′s. The evidence of this new age is in everything we see: new movies that debut at the theaters suggest alien life beyond our world, old school cartoons depict a future with flying cars and robot maids, R&B tracks harbor futuristic melodies and lyrics speaking about traveling to the moon and last but now not least, Fashion’s newest collections for the fall season are infused with characteristics of space cadets right out of “Star Trek”. Designers across the board used color pallets consisting of gray, white, silver, black and variations of beige to replicate the feeling of a new world almost devoid of color. Designers Rick Owens, Osman Yousefzada and Julian Louie have worked with geometric shapes and manipulated silhouettes to create the sleek and minimalistic styles of the future. If you are into modern and cheek minimalism, then this new frontier is one you MUST explore! For more information on the above designers and more, visit WWW.STYLE.COM

As I do some designing myself ( designsbytuesdai (dotcom), I’ve always admired and tried to remain “open-minded” to all types of “creativity”, that designers have approached in the fashion industry down thru history. It’s always inspirational and pure motivation to see new trends be broken, and style be re-created…daily! I mostly like to take the side of “Glamour & Chic”—-Chic: a torn “artistic” plain denim blazer, denim jeans, white tank, and mutli coloured heels. Then slide on with a playfully gorgeous evening look: A classy strapless free-flowing gown, that not only glides gracefully as you walk across a glossy wooden floor…but captures the audience’s attention, putting them into complete “awe”, once entered the room!
I take my fashion cues from designers: Marc Jacobs; Love his original edgy trends, Tracey Reese; Classy Poise & elegant, Trina Turk: Gorgeous, FIRECE & Simple. Coach: LOVE they’re simplicity and detail…always doing just enough, Jeremy Scott: He’s just radical!!!! I mean serioously
, Alan Del Rosario: Just Perfection! And Kanye..I adore the fact that he keeps his style; comfortable yet casual sexy with a “charming” edge. *Smile*, Of course I DO have my own edgy and SPIN….I just LOVE their fashion senses
Btw, as you can tell I LOVE “edgy”

Thanks for the post…
I think I’m leaning towards Julie’s style
Correction: I”m leaning towards Julian Loie’s style…
