What is Ellen’s Bigger, Longer & Wider Show!!

Its starting to feel like we’re about to get things cracking again. After about a six month hiatus from performing which, incidentally, is the longest we’ve taken in about five years, I’m adjusting to hotel life again. After last weeks Kanye West Foundation S.H.O.W. performance in Chicago I flew to L.A. for some writing and recording sessions and now I’m back in Chicago again. When we arrived yesterday evening it was pouring down rain, Damn!! …just where we left off!! But it appears that we’re at least gonna have a little bit of sunshine today.

Today we’re taping ELLEN show. The taping is part of ELLEN’s “Bigger, Longer, & Wider Show” that will air on the 27th of June on TBS. How coincidental is it that we’re back at the same Chicago Theater?? Television tapings are pretty intense and today is no exception. Here’s an up to the minute account of how we’re flowing today…

10:00 a.m I'm jogging through downtown, there's a light mist in the air...

12:45 p.m. ... How coincidental is it that Ellen is taping at the same place we were last week. It's a litter sunnier today though.

1:00 p.m. ... gearing up for soundcheck.

1:10 p.m. ... I hate waiting, let's do this..

1:15 p.m. ... D.J. Activ, Jeff Bhaskar and Pete Kuzma ... let's play already!!!

1:35 p.m. ... i"m standing in for Kanye in this pic ... you know dude don't show up for soundcheck. You should have seen it, i have to read his lines on the teleprompter, THAT's FUNNY? I don't kn ow HIS lines, I've got my own lines to remember!!

4:30 p.m. ... I just had lunch ... I'm hanging out in my room now. Check out the view from my room at the Wit Hotel at Lake and State.. that's Lake Michigan to the right!!
